Short description

Green Gas is a consumable propellant for refilling gas-powered airsoft replicas (GBB). It is a purified propane with added silicone that simultaneously provides propulsion and lubricates the weapon's moving parts.

Green Gas is the primary propellant for the vast majority of gas-powered airsoft pistols and rifles. It consists of propane and silicone: propane ensures shot consistency, while silicone protects and lubricates moving parts. Unlike disposable CO₂ cartridges, Green Gas is supplied in refillable bottles with a valve: the replica's reservoir can be topped up at any time without gas loss. The gas does not produce elevated velocities on the first shots, as CO₂ does — shooting can begin immediately after refilling. The base of standard green gas is highly purified propane, which lacks the characteristic pungent odor of lighter or camping stove fuel.

Airsoft gas applications

  • Refilling gas-powered airsoft replicas (GBB) — suitable for most gas pistols, rifles, and shotguns.
  • Internal parts lubrication during firing — the silicone in the gas composition automatically lubricates magazine seals and slide moving parts with each shot, reducing wear.

Airsoft gas advantagess

  • Stable pressure throughout the entire shooting session — Green Gas pressure of approximately 100 PSI ensures uniform BB muzzle velocity from the first to the last shot, without the spikes characteristic of CO₂.
  • Refilling without disassembling the weapon — the magazine is refilled directly through the valve in seconds; gas remaining in the magazine is not lost during top-up.
  • Built-in weapon protection — silicone additives in the gas composition extend the service life of seals and moving parts, reducing the need for additional maintenance.

  • Base composition: purified propane
  • Additives: silicone
  • Operating pressure: 100 PSI (~7 kg/cm²)
  • Bottle volume: up to 1,000 ml
  • Compatibility: GBB gas-powered replicas
  • Refilling method: valve top-up (without disassembling the magazine)
  • Magazine storage: at least 50% gas to prevent seal drying
