Airsoft protective goggles serve as the primary means of eye protection during airsoft weapon firing. Open-frame goggles resemble regular eyewear in appearance but feature clear or tinted impact-resistant lenses; their main advantage is reliability and a high impact resistance rating. Lenses are made of polycarbonate — a lightweight, impact-resistant material that does not shatter and provides excellent UV protection. Anti-Fog and Anti-Scratch coatings significantly extend service life and maintain visibility during intense gameplay. Some models come with multiple lens colors: clear — for indoor use, twilight, and fog; gray — for bright sunlight, reduces glare; orange — for overcast weather, enhances contrast. Certain models can be worn over regular prescription glasses.

Lightweight and comfortable — the polycarbonate lens and lightweight frame ensure minimal weight; adjustable temples or an elastic strap allow the goggles to be secured to the head or helmet without pressure or shifting.
